This is the story of Afthab Junejo and Sana Usama, the co-founders of Afout, whose combined experience and passion for accounting, business consultancy, and psychology have created a beacon of excellence in the industry.
The Professional Journey of Afthab Junejo
With over 14 years in the realms of Accounting, Advisory, and Auditing, Afthab Junejo’s journey is marked by extensive experience and academic achievements. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Commerce from the University of Madras and completed the rigorous Chartered Accountant Intermediate certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Afthab began his career as an Audit Assistant at Kuttiamu and Sakeer, Indian Chartered Accountants, progressing to Senior Audit Assistant at Bari and Associates. His career then took him to Qatar, where he served as an Internal Auditor and later as a Senior Internal Auditor at Mowasalat, the Transport Company of the State of Qatar. In 2017, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Afthab transitioned to a full-time freelance career, delivering top-notch financial accounting, auditing, and consulting services to clients globally.
The Professional Journey of Sana Usama
Sana Usama brings a unique blend of expertise in both commerce and psychology to Afout. Her academic journey is as impressive as it is diverse. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Commerce from the University of Madras, reflecting her strong foundation in business and finance. Recognizing the importance of understanding human behavior and its impact on business, Sana furthered her education with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
For the past two years, Sana has been making significant contributions as a Consultant Psychologist at Habitos Care. Her role involves providing psychological support and counseling, helping individuals navigate personal and professional challenges. This experience has honed her skills in empathy, communication, and understanding client needs, all of which are crucial in a business consultancy environment.
Sana's expertise in psychology allows her to bring a human-centered approach to Afout, ensuring that client interactions are not only professional but also empathetic and supportive. Her ability to understand and address the psychological aspects of business operations provides Afout with a distinctive edge, making the consultancy’s services more comprehensive and client-focused.
